Tegan Badejo is the heart of KT Dance Company. A professionally trained dancer and qualified instructor, she has dedicated her life to dance since the age of two — competing nationally, performing semi-professionally, and training at Phil Winston's Theatreworks before founding KT Dance Company in March 2024. Her mission is simple: to create a space where every student, regardless of age or ability, can discover the confidence, discipline and joy that dance brings.
Tegan began dancing at the age of two, developing a strong foundation across a wide range of styles including Jazz, Ballet, Tap, Modern and Musical Theatre. From her very first steps in the studio, it was clear this was more than a hobby — it was a calling.
Throughout her training, Tegan regularly competed in local and national competitions and championships, gaining valuable performance experience and recognition for her versatility and commitment. She also performed in semi-professional local productions and pantomimes, further refining her stage presence and love for performing.
Tegan continued her professional development at Phil Winston's Theatreworks, where she trained for three years. During this time, she earned her dance diploma alongside a teaching qualification — equipping her with both the technical expertise and educational skills to inspire the next generation of dancers.
